My persona is an unconventional Asian female image.
She loves and pursues freedom, she must be a feminist. She realized that many women in society are bound by male aesthetics. They look slim and beautiful, but they are very weak. She hopes that more women will realize that they can become stronger, both mentally and physically, so that they don't have to rely on men and can resist injustice. At the same time, she also realized that her ability to pursue freedom and the life she wanted was the result of countless women's efforts to change, and she was moved by “girls helping girls”.
In the design, I incorporated elements of punk and motorcycle culture, both symbolizing rebellion and freedom. The key design lies in the strong muscular contours of the shoulders. I want to create visual impact. But I haven't given up on the gentleness of women. I used lace fabric and transferred Nv Shu onto it for printing. In addition, I also used leather rope weaving to express mutual understanding and assistance among women, and these ropes intertwined together to become very strong female strength.

The project focuses on addressing the stigma surrounding menstruation in women. I conducted an in-depth exploration and analysis of the underlying causes of shame, while also considering various dimensions of this concept within the context of the contemporary social movement that advocates for women to reject menstrual shame. Building upon this research and reflection, diverse approaches are employed to develop novel material.
